(Beijing, October 14) In the women's doubles bronze-medal match of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Badminton Invitational Tournament held at Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium this morning, No.3 seed Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen beat unseeded Wang Yuting/Liu Shanshan 21-8, 21-5 to get the bronze medal.

As one of the pairs ranks high in the world, the experienced Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen has taken part in many tournaments. Playing against inferior opponents they showed their superiority from the beginning of the match and led the score all the way. Although Wang Yuting/Liu Shanshan played hard they still lost the first set 21-8.

In the second set Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen continued to control the situation with forceful attack and tight defence. Wang Yuting/Liu Shanshan was difficult to win every point. Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen easily took the set by a wide margin of 21-5 and won the bronze medal.
