(Beijing, October 8) The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Badminton Invitational Tournament will be held at Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium, the only Olympic venue in southeast Beijing, on October 10-14.The gymnasium, with a shuttle-like appearance, covers an area of 24,383 sq.m. and a seating capacity of 7,500. The venue will also be used for next year's Olympic badminton and rhythmic gymnastics competitions.After the Olympic Games, the gymnasium will be used as a sports center for both the university and the community as well as a training base for the national badminton team.
